Hey everyone! Today I am going to share my review of Lotus Makeup Colorkick Kajal in the shade Mystic Green. I am not a fan of colored eye pencils, but bought this one out of sheer curiosity as how green kajal would look on me!! Haha!! So, lets see if it was a hit or a miss 🙂
Price – Rs.249/-
You can buy it from here.
Product Description – An extreme, pigmented smudge-proof formula enriched with botanical extracts of Almond Oil. The one glide application makes it easy to use without any flakiness and stays perfect for 8 hrs. without any smudge.
Packaging – It comes in a bright pink retractable packaging. There is a green colored band at the bottom of the pencil to help identify the shade in your makeup stash. The cap shuts nicely making it travel friendly.
Pigmentation – I was more excited to use it on my upper lash line than my lower lash line. But I must admit, it has disappointed me as the color pay off is concerned. As the name suggests, it is a green colored eye pencil with some metallic sheen. Not that intense color pay off, I had to swipe it multiple times on my upper lash line for the desired opacity.
Texture – So, this actually not only disappointed me in the pigmentation area, it also has a weird texture. This pencil is not at all creamy or easy to swipe, it has a very dry texture and it tends to break easily whether I swatch it on the back of my hand or on my upper lash line. You can see in the picture below how it gave me a hard time!
Staying Power – Probably the only best thing about this kajal pencil. It doesn’t smudge at all and stays on for as long as 6-7 hours. Even with an oil based cleanser, it is a bit tough to remove.
